After our first meeting with her, she had us list all of the things we were looking for in our “dream house.” We sent her the list, and she found our house extremely quickly. We didn’t look at more than 5 houses total. As a former realtor in the States, I can really appreciate that knowledge. Not only was she extremely professional, but she was supportive, fun, and kind. I really believe we found, not only a great realtor, but a new friend. The use of the company’s lawyer, notario, and building inspector all went extremely well too. After a disappointing 9 months with a different local real estate firm, I had no choice but to make some changes. And I am so glad I did! Gio & Alma were very patient with me, listened to my expectations and hopes for selling the property, especially when I had begun to lose hope. They did the hustle! For example, in the first three months the team led more showings than the property received in the entire 9 months with the previous agent. I was well taken care of and felt like my property was as important as any of the others they represented. Selling a property is (based on my experiences) far more stressful than buying one. They encouraged me, assured me not to lose hope, went beyond the call of duty on several occasions, which they technically didn’t need to. Their calmness reassured me that a deal would happen…and it did! They took great care of me and soon got us over the finish line. Many firms in San Miguel de Allende may advertise and give platitudes about working with integrity and that their reputation is a core principle to their missions, but as far as I am concerned, Gio, Alma and their support staff don’t need to spend any energy convincing anyone about that sort of stuff because they naturally represent these ethical, professional values. He was arrogant, insulting and we felt he didn't provide the proper information we were requesting on the house. We even had to ask that he not be at our closing.
